[Help] 3 OS on N900 .. is that possible ??
 

Hi all
I have on my N900 Maemo and Andoird
My question is that is it possible to install third OS on my phone (SHR)
I think that when I flash the phone with SHR OS ... Android boot will not find the kernal for booting Android ... I know all about booting partitions and how to edit it ...and how to make SD card have 2 OS ....

so help me

If you want to boot SHR, I suggest using µSD for that instead of flashing it into internal memory, as the latter wasn't tested yet at all. Also, SHR ATM still uses original Maemo kernel, so you can just share it between those two systems.

If I were you, I would leave Maemo in flash, install Android on first SD partitions and SHR on last one.

Please keep in mind that SHR on N900 is still highly experimental and if you're not Linux guru, you can even fail to boot it at all.

do you mean that SHR OS can run without flashing zImage-2.6.28-r52-nokia900.bin to the device ???
if that so I can put all the files in mmcblk1p1 ext3 partition and make the .item boot file and start SHR OS ???
I have the normal SD card that i have Android on it.. I can repartition it to 2 ext3 partitions one for android and one for SHR .. is that work ???
