[ANNOUNCE] Power-saving ON/OFF mode widget

4 Attachment(s)
I always wanted a widget to click and it will lower down everything to save up every last bit of battery left in some tight times and so i came up with a script that will:

1.Disable FM transmitter

2.disconnect the internet

3.disable the bluetooth

4.enter tablet mode *this option must be turned on manually*

5.switch to 2G mode

6.Pause the media player if it is playing

7.Reclock the mobile to the starving Config. of max CPU req. of 600Mhz (kernel-power attachment only)

8.Shut off OpenSSH *useless since the internet will be disconnected*

9.Dims the backlight

10.displays a notification that your N900 is on safemode

[HOW TO?]

1.install queen beecon widget

2.install rootsh

3.download the files attached below

4.transfer the files in the attachment below to /home/user/MyDocs/MyCodes

note that these are case sensitive and you must create a folder with the name MyCodes

5. Create a new QBW widget on the desktop

6. Go to settings of that widget (tool icon)

7. click advanced

8. click yes

9. scroll way down

10. click Import File to Buffer

11. Select the "powersaver" file

12.click Import Buffer to Beecon

13. done. now exit out and click Save.

and here you are just click on it and see the magic work :D

To-Do list:
1.backlight dimmer*need help with that*

2.CPU frequency changer *for the power kernel users ONLY*

3.another script to exit the safe mode*even though all the changes are simple switch off*
All Done

Re: Power-saving mode widget

can you make it automatically do this if battery life is detected under %10?
this must be set by the user of course..most people would not like there phone automatically disconnection things.

Re: Power-saving mode widget

thats the beauty of it
you can customize it to however you like
for me im actually using it for a different purpose, im using it as a stealth mode
where it secures the device and does some other stuff
this is all still at it beginning and there are many ways to powersave
and am open for any suggestions ;)

in your next release, could you add the feature to turn off the SSH also? that should save some power

since the internet will be Disconnected your SSH will be automatically shut off
but i added it since you might need it

i also uploaded another widget that will shut the powersaving widget off
and added another that is used for kernel power which will reclock your n900 and use lower voltage*but only download incase you have kernel-power-settings installed
