Powerpoint Presenter with Nokia N900
 

Any idea how to configure Nokia N900 for Microsoft Powerpoint slideshow control? :cool:

Outside of a VNC/RDP configuration? BlueMaemo is probably the best answer. But it requires a bluetooth connection between the N900 and the device your doing a presentation from (so not useful if it's not your own laptop usually).

Edit: If you have a Macbook or Macbook Pro there's also a widget that thp made that enables you to use the N900 like the Apple remote.

checked for a cuple of days now, and it seems like it is not good on windows 7. Works fine on XP..

I tried installing Bluemaemo, but keep getting error message "application package not found"???

you can get it from the extra devel repo (standard warning about f'ing up your n900...). the one from the OS2008 repo (which you tried) probably won't work on your n900 (i don't know this, but since you were having problems, it seems a likely issue).

something that works thru WIFI would be ideal, like salling clicker for symbian
