Pidgin bug? I've to tap 2 times to launch it
 

Hi guys, am I alone with this problem?
I've to tap 2 times to launch Pidgin. I don't know if after first tap it runs but to open buddy list I've to tap second time.
Same rule using terminal: I digit pidgin and nothing happens; after did it I tap one time on pidgin icon to open buddy list (so here too I need two times: terminal+icon).
I uninstalled it from terminal (sudo gainroot -> apt-get purge pidgin) and reinstalled it from terminal but this strange situation (it's a problem?) to launch it continue...
some idea?

It's a known issue for many but i've not particularly seen a way to resolve it. But then again it doesn't bug me as much as I only use it once in a blue moon when I have too much time on my hands (which is rare)......
