About to send my n900 in for Repair-Give me a Checklist
 

Hi,

I have a broken USB port.

I have run backup to my microsd card

I have backed up contacts to my micro SD card

I have backed up all important files


My Questions: I have titan's Kernel and NitDroid Installed. Should I install them? My problem is an obvious hardware issue. Do you think it will matter?

Whenever I have sent devices for repair (mainly HTC ones) I have left them with all the 'warranty voiding' mods on there and it seems they never check.

Dont know about nokia though - where are you sending it to?

I personally would leave them on there, but no harm in uninstalling them?

imo like you say its a hardware issue. but you never know?
would suck if you sent only to have it sent back as youve voided the warrenty. uninstall them just in case is my advice
