Problem with Synchronising to MS Outlook
recently happend that I cannot sync anymore the contacts with two versions of Ovi and Outlook.
1st PC: Ovi Suite 2.2.1.23 says "error occured 8004fd02" (synching of pictures work !). No further hint after I googled the error code. 2nd PC: older Version of Ovi Suite says only that the device doesn't respond after a while During 8 month no problem. As also the MfE doesn't work (self signed cert bug-terrible), I cannot use the device Any ideas ? I have tried a lot, like resetting, cleaning the device or put to default. No I'm lost. Maybe too much difficulties to sync 900 contacts with many differencies ? |

Now I have erased all contacts in the N900 contact settings, and IT WORKS at least on 1 PC !
Maybe the huge number of conflicts was the problem. I was using the Merge Duplicate App before, but cleared the device, so the Social network contacts where not linked anymore with the normal contacts. Strange that the error code from OVI cannot not be found on the internet with a official explanation. |

It does not do USB sync with the old Ovi Suite 7 nor with 2.2.1.23 on the PC where Outlook is configured as MfE (Exchange).
Ovi says Outlook cannot be found. Any thoughts how to overcome the problem ? Is it not possible to sync MfE Outlook with USB ? |
