N900 water damage solution
hello guys.....it is my n900 in water for about 30 mins.....wt shud i do now
wen i tried to charge it after 2 days.....the yellow led light flashed n then suddenly the green light started flashing n did not stop until i removed the battery......so now wen i try to switch on my phone.....it does swicth on bt after some time of loading it gets turned off!!!:confused::(:confused:....what to do??? pls help me thnxx |

Don't laugh at me...
Put it in rice, for 20 hours! I Googled, and came up with this... Try it... Although you shouldn't have connected it to power supply, you might still stand a chance. |

Better than the rice trick, disassemble your phone as much as you can, then soak it in >90% isopropanol (rubbing alcohol). Dry it by blowing air duster on it and into crevices.
Repeat this a few times, soaking/dousing it in isopropanol and drying it with air duster. It saved my phone. You'll probably have to dissassembly the LCD screen and carefully wipe it off to remove streaks. |
