problems with media player widget
 

hey i wanted to post a request for like help on my n900 ;p but ididnt know where to post ! :P
i have that widget on my n900 that media player widget but sadly it doesnt work like i press play it doesnt play does do anything just shows the name of the song thats it lol i removed put it back again same thing restarted the phone nothing lol can anyone help :(

me too, i think the media player is closed source, so only nokia can fix it, and they think they already have!
it did work perfect for me until i installed Matan's Modified Hildon Desktop but now it only works once after removing then re-adding it, but then it will crash my desktop causing all my widgets to disappear, then it stops working again, this problem and not having the latest flash are the only problems with my phone

i got the same thing only removing and re-adding seems to be the thing to solve it

I used to have this problem as well - having said that, clean up the topic : )

How did I resolve it? By reverting back to the standard hildon-desktop.

the title is still crap. please edit it to be more descriptive. ("problems with media player widget" for example?!?

but the point of the THAT crap tittle is that i dont know where the to post a freaking help request :P

Yeah, but the point of the post is that you need media player widget help. The fact the you didn't know where to put it is irelevant. The title ossipena suggested would be better.Then peolpe would know what help you needed from the title.

and in addition when the title is descriptive, mods can easily move it to the correct place. now they have to read your post etc through before they even know what this is all about.
