Amazon Mobile Tracker
I ordered some things through Amazon and clicked to have some sort of notification via my N900 using cellular. I don't remember the exact name of what I clicked but it showed up as an option. It was something like "mobile tracker" but I don't see it now.
So when the package was out for delivery, I received a text message saying the delivery guy was nearby AND mappero opened with it tracking the location of the delivery guy. I was amazed - I could see that the delivery guy was about a block away. Later, I received another text message when the package was delivered and signed for. Has anyone else used this feature? I'm not sure exactly how mappero could track the delivery guy. If I hadn't seen it I wouldn't have believed it. |
Re: Amazon Mobile Tracker
Interesting. This is what Amazon says: http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/custom...deId=200378960
But there doesn't seem to be any location info in there. Did you have a web url in your text message? And did Mappero do live tracking or just a single position? |
