Help-Virtual Keyboard Storing all the Passwords??
 

Hi,

I was trying to enter a few strings using my virtual keyboard and it started showing me all my passwords starting from that string as suggestions/auto complete options....this is really scary....:mad:

Is there a way to supress this behaviour of the virtual keyboard and remove such entries from it.......???:confused:

Need help on this one guys....

Install and use auto complete editor. Delete your password(s).
If this persists, disable predictive writing... (Config->Text Input).
Weird, as I don't remember this to happen to me... maybe you wrote your password in some field not intended for that, such as a note, editor, terminal, username field, etc...

Thanks mate,I will install and edit the entries rightaway...however I do not think I ever wrote my password in any other field....will see if the problem persists post editing.....

I noticed that only some apps attempted to predict my saved passwords. I had to turn of text prediction all together to stop this.

But for eg. MicroB never predicts my passwords, but some 3rd part Twitter clients for eg. have in the past done this.

Are you sure its just not one application?

Well it is not the case with a single app....infact whenever i try to type anywhere using virtual keyboard it starts showing my passwords starting from matching text.....
I have deleted the entries using AutoComplete Editor for now...will be testing it again to see whether the problem reappears....
