Microb problem

I have a weird problem with the browser,
Often when i go to another app and go back,
some parts of the page goes blank,
and sometimes it goes completely blank..

And to make it worse, the blank area sometimes won't go back at all..
This is annoying if i post alot of stuff in forums, and it suddenly gone..

I think i've seen similar problem in google maps..

Is there anyway to fix this?

Sometimes moving around solves it but not always.
Reloading solves the problem but like i said it's annoying if you've written alot of stuff and gone, or when you already buffered youtube videos and have to start over again

To me this sounds like pretty standard MicroB behaviour. It has behaved like this since the first firmware versions, or atleast on my device.

MicroB often receives criticizm for "tearing", which looks just like what the OP is describing. I believe it had something to do with the browser's memory handling. It "forgets" parts of the page and sometimes a good ol' CTRL + R is the only thing to set things straight again. Since it seems to be so closely linked to changing between tasks, a memory-related reason is suspect #1 for me.

Re: Microb problem

try to upgrade your Firefox to the next beta 2 generation also know as fennec, as it contain a debug option found under the settings and should show you if anything is interfering... my firefox 2 beta debug windows shows that the old chromium browser registered some components and is causing me some issues, however i have not been able to reset those components back to the default which should be MicroB....

The main problem I'm seeing surrounds the JS component.

I have tried the following:
- i have used dbus-switchboard utility to remove the JS file association but made no difference
- i have used browser switchboard utility and changed default browsers around and then back to MicroB, made some minor difference but has not removed the association to the registered components.
