nitdroid reinstalls my maemo kernal to 600mhz i want 900mhz
1. i just installed today nitdroid and i let it do its job and see my kernal is stock for maemo after installion, i replace kernal again to 900mhz, i boot to nitdroid then to maemo and see my kernal got replaced to 600mhz why i dont understand that bit how does android interfere with maemo5.
2. i know how to overclock maemo kernal but not android its too slow can you tell me how to overclock that or does it use maemo kernal. |

ya that's because when u install nitdroid, it installs its own kernel, which overrides or takes over the maemo kernel.....or something like that anyway.
U have to install kernel-power from app manager, so that when u reach the multiboot menu (the menu where u choose to boot maemo or nitdroid when u turn on ur phone at startup), u'll see another option called: "maemo-kernel-power". That's only available after u install "kernel-power" from app manager. If u run that, then u'll be able to OC again, but running the stock maemo (the option without kernel-power) then u won't be able to OC. |
