i used to have a stainless/chrome 8800. pretty solid phone. low battery life though. but one of the best phones i ever had.

i find it silly now days trying to do work and daily computing in the small screen i just missed having a solid phone without lagging every phone call and having to miss the answer button

Why not get a nokia 3xxx instead ? Cheap and you don't need to recharge it for almost a week. Browsing web on n900 might be a bit silly, but reading/writing emails/smses and other things is just perfect.
