Unlocking through VNC

I installed VNC on the phone (so I could VNC to the phone from my PC, while the phone is charging... lazy I know)...

But the phone seems to lock every 30 seconds or so...
My theory is that the VNC commands are not registering as screen touches, so the phone is autolocking as it does when not being used (even though I can control the phone perfectly through the VNC viewer).

I am using Ultra VNC on the computer... and it has the option to send a custom key stroke (asks for decimal keycode)

Just wondering if anyone can tell me if there is a keycode for the unlock swipey button on the n900 that I could send through VNC??

Thanks.

Re: Unlocking through VNC

I think most folks are dealing with this by installing the Screen Brightness app.

Then, when you connect via VNC, 1st you turn off the screensaver with the Screen Brightness app.
