Repository Problems
Hey Guys,
Did a search but just could not find it...whenever I go into my app manager there is a list of repositories that don't load...I first get the error message: "Application list is partially refreshed. Some Catalogues unavailable. Check catalogue details." I hit Details and the following list comes up: Maemo Catalogue maemo contrib Nokia Qole System Software updates Not sure what the problem is so if anyone can help out I would really appreciate it. Cheers |
Re: Repository Problems
Post your repo config here so we can see what is the problem
"cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/hildon-application-manager.list" it should look like this depending on which repos you have: Code:
deb https://downloads.maemo.nokia.com/fremantle/ssu/apps/ ./ also do an "apt-get update" and paste exit here. |
Re: Repository Problems

Re: Repository Problems
Okay ran the first command in Xterminal...
'not found' apt-get update 'E: could not open lock file /var/lib/apt/lists/lock - open (13 Permission denied) E: Unable to lock the list directory' ??? Cheers |
Re: Repository Problems
You need to be root first, type "sudo gainroot" for that.
And before doing "apt-get update" u must close the app manager. also look your sources file in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/hildon-application-manager.list and post it here. |
