Intermittent detection of wifi channel 12
 

Since I moved my router, it has picked channel 12 as the least congested. The trouble is my N900 is intermittent in seeing it now. It has a strong signal and other devices connect fine.

I use wifi-eye (excellent tool, by the way) to show available networks and sometimes the router is there (on channel 12) and sometimes it isn't.

I'm sure I have seen discussions on channel 12 but can't find them now. I could understand *never* seeing it but not this intermittent problem (it has been rock solid connecting until the router switched - I know the answer is to switch the router to a different channel but I'd still like to know the answer).
