Guide Needed - Add a new Kernel to Multiboot (Ubuntu)
Hello!
I'm not very good with Multiboot. I don't mess with it because it just works great! How do I install another kernel that is not available via apt-get? I have the kernel on my mac, but I only know how to install and reinstall kernels on Multiboot via apt-get. I want to install Ubuntu on Partition 3, but not sure what to put in the multiboot.item and where to place the Ubuntu kernel? Thank you! |

Quick reply...
Could you clarify the situation? Is the question about desktop/laptop/mobile? What operating systems do you already have? What partitions do you have? It seems you have a Mac computer (desktop/laptop) with Mac OS X on it, with apt-get in it, and three partitions, the third partition is empty, and you want to install Ubuntu on it. Maybe, this could help you. https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Ma...elInstallation ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Just bumping the thread so that other more knowing users would notice it. |

Hey Mate,
Multiboot is N900 software to flash different kernels directly off the phone. I have no worries installing software on computers. Problem has been solved now I believe. |
