Battery Charge status not getting updated
 

Hi All,
I installed Advanced Power Monitor that displays the battery status in the extended status bar. But ever since I installed it, my phone is not able to detect the current battery charge status. If i restart my phone, it immediately gets updated with the latest charge status. It does not stop charging the battery even if it reaches full charge. However if i turn my phone off and charge, the phone handles the same correctly and the LED turns green to indicate charging complete.

I have uninstalled the Advanced Power Monitor but then this problem persists. I am not sure what has gone wrong but then I am not willing to reflash the device either.

Is there any way i can fix this without reflashing the device?:confused:
