cant get pr 1.3 update
 

hey guys im live in the uk (if that matters) and i went to the update manager nothing there then tryed the pc suite it says i already have the latest version pr1.2. how do i get pr 1.3 i reinstalled pr 1.2 but still could not get pr 1.3

If you're on the Vodafone variant firmware, your choices are to either reflash to the global firmware (best option) or simply wait for Vodafone to get round to approving the update.

no im not on voda and will this erase my music videos photo etc

yeah im on uk firmware, still waiting. dont want to flash to glabal as ive never needed to flash.

if you are on voda firmware i would flash to global if i were you.

Nope, as long as you don't flash EMMC. And I don't think there are any modified firmwares out there. At least I never heard of locked n900.

I thought I should uninstall the overclocking kernel before updating. So I did the uninstall process as described by Baccur? What happened was that Pr1.3 got installed right from the terminal. Tons of patches an updates, and it didn't touch any installed software.

I'm on UK and still waiting for 1.3, despite getting a text message from Nokia days ago to tell me I could get it. :(
