battery better with PR 1.3
 

Battery definitely seems better. I did PR 1.3 OTA and have the following
- stock kernel
- at&t NYC area 2G no WIFI
- google IM always on and connected on edge
- check nokia messaging every 30 mins
- no widets other than calender desktop execution cmd

at the current time(6 hrs off charger), my battery would be at 74%, its currently at 84%

anyone notice similar improvements?

yep, definitely. atleast 2 to 3hrs more uptime. same usage than before update.

wohhh battery is better indeed ! Usual if i charged my phone at night.. and pulled it out the charger before i sleep.. the next morning after 8 hours it was at 75 allready.. and now ?? its STILL on the same percent !

sickk and after some webpages and messaging.. i see that the battery drains.. and if i close everything again, the percentage goes up again..

Yeah, I noticed that too. Usually the GPS dies on me after keeping it on for 4 - 6 hours. It lasted over 6 hours on my drive to another state, on Monday.

Saw the same yesterday night, whole night of standby and no change in battery percentage; awesome!

I am seeing better battery life on bluetooth headset connectivity as well, but need to run it for a few days.
