Applications broken in PR1.3
 
Dear all,

As weall know that, some or most of people here updated their N900 to PR1.3. The update truly added some fast in the UI, but 10% of the application are not working due to compatibility of the PR1.3.

The reason of opening this thread ( i search & found no such a thread there, so i created one ) is to share all the applications that conflict with PR1.3 & raise it to Maemo team to make it easy for them as well to track & find a solution.

Hope to get a solutions ASAP.

What applications exactly???
Everything I used before PR 1.3 I'm still using now with PR 1.3.
I don't know where did you find those 70-80%. Maybe there are some but most certainly not 70%. :rolleyes:

And yet you haven't even named one - ?!

I upgraded to PR1.3, and all my apps are working fine thanks.

These are the app. :
1)- Netscan
2)- Camera RAW Viewer.
3)- Flash Tweaker

and some i cant remember cos i uninstalled them ( will let you know later )

For me the following did not work.
I updated to 1.3 OTA.

- dropn900
- FM radio tuner (others have posted about this)
- Flash Tweak Version (though this has been updated and mostly works)
- Autocomplete editor (others have posted about this)

Core functionality has not been compromised,
and battery life & speed are definitely improved for me at least.

I am guessing that https://bugs.maemo.org/ is for this though.

Flash Tweaker works just fine for me, besides throwing a message when the application starts about a mismatch in the flash's file size (which can be ignored).

I got that too previously.
I uninstalled using
Code:
apt-get purge tweakflashver
Then installed the latest again (0.4.0-maemo1) and it worked fine.

50% to 5% and
