media player not playing mp3s!!
 

hi all!

the stock media player is not playing my mp3s from my mem card. it is saying invalid format? media not supported or something along those lines.

i also have movies which it will not play

someone help, pretty pleasseee

Try copying data to n900 internal and see if it can play or not.. just to cut down a possibility of the mem card hvin sum issues.

Might be worth posting some more data on the mp3s, e.g. are they vbr, or an odd bitrate, etc.?

I've certainly not had any troubles with the handful of mp3s I've played.

when i add directly to phone it works, but when sent to the card it will not work?

gentlemen/ladies,

i formatted my 32gb microsdhc card, and everything wors 100% now.
