N800 Opera not able to show page source?
Damn, I hope I'm missing something but I can't see a way to view the source of a webpage using Opwra on the N800. That's a major feature that I need that's normally available on full browsers. Am I missing it or can it be hacked to be possible? I don't want to waste time saving things then opening them in the file viewer, especially if it's just to checck something small. Why did this feature get removed?

I can't find way to do this with MicroB either. Frustrating...

Re: N800 Opera not able to show page source?
Workaround: use the text-only links browser in a terminal window. Can show the page source. Get the 2.1pre12 deb from http://tavifont.googlepages.com/

Another workaround:
Install curl: start xterm sudo gainroot apt-get install curl exit Then curl -s http://link.to.the.page/in.question.html | more |
Re: N800 Opera not able to show page source?
I wouldn't quite call it a workaround as much as taking the loooong way around.
I thought it was only me that was searching for a view page source function, and only me that was disappointed. Glad to know that I'm not the only one. I don't think it would be too hard to display the source....? I'll look into it though. |
