ringing delays 3-5 seconds
 

Hi All

Recently after i upgraded to PR1.3, when I receive a call, the ringing tone rings after 3-5 seconds the call comes. does anyone have any idea how to rectify this?

i am really fed up with the called new PR1.3:mad:

As far as I know this has always been the way the phone works. I've had 3 N900s (due to hardware failure) reflashed many times and they have always had this pause. Although I am currently still on PR1.2

The problem appeared to me after install custom ringtones ... fixed after removing it ...

colchaodemola, yeah it was the custome ringtones. It seems before it rings, the custome ringtones has to pull info from its db/configuration or whatever.

i just have vibrating on and no ringtones (i hate to sit in a train and the thing goes on) and it reacts in the second that i got the call.. very fast. using 1.3
