Cannot Upgrade Firmware/Software - Urgent help needed
 

Hi everyone.

I got an n900 recently and already have some problems. My Software version is 3.2010.02-8-204.1 and it wont show any updates neither on App Manager or Nokia Software updater.

My friend has an n900 too and he says that he gets an update message in the app manager, and he is able to do it OTA and over Nokia software updater. It is actually pretty urgent for me to get the update as I MUST have the bluetooth turned on the whole day (I know the new firmware has better battery life). I've tried everything, even on the nokia website it says I have the latest version. Why that? We all know it is not the latest version at all.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Basically: Nokia are, and always have been, utterly terribad at releasing firmware updates for UK variant devices, as yours is.
The solution for the N900 is to reflash your device to the global firmware.
