Power Button Menu - Can the length of time it shows be extended?
 

Hi all,

I find that the power button menu when invoked stays on screen for such a short time that I can't actually use it very much. Can the duration of the display be changed easily?

Mine stays visible until the screen blanks out - about a minute - yours is not doing this?

stays till the screen goes out too. 30sec well dimes the bar goes away then the lights go out

He is probably using the press power button to lock/unlock mod. In that case, when u press the power button the screen locks in like 2 secs. It would indeed be nice if one could change that to like 5 or 10 secs as this mod is quite handy and removes the necessity to swipe the screen to unlock.

The length of power key long press and the time difference between two clicks in a power key double click can be controlled in the [PowerKey] section of the file /etc/mce/mce.ini.

Thanks! Problem solved - I had installed a script called powerlock that was causing the problem. Thanks all for responding.
