Video Calling with Tango on Nokia n900
 

Is it possible to do this? i love that we have skype but the fact is i cant call iphone users or android users using skype for video chat. I know they have tango for iphoe and android so it would be nince if we had it to. as of now i can only clal other n900 users and peoples pc's who haev skype

apparently we r the only 2 in the universw that would like true mobile to mobile video calling accross plat forms and hardware

+1. Never been able to video call my wife's galaxy tab from my N900, and I've tested each and any sw for that.

looks like a closed source app, so no.
you'll have to ask the developers themselves if they would be willing to create a maemo version. but given the fact that there's not even a symbian port i'd say the chances are slim...

i also want tango app and whatsapp on n900...would be neat to be able to connect with BB, Iphone, Android etc.

we probably should mail them a lot so that they support maemo5 ,though chances are kinda minimal .

good idea, the more feedback they get from maemo users, the more likely they'll work on developing it :)

Skype video chat from N900 to iPhone works for me. Another closed-source chat thing doesn't seem like a good idea to me...
