need help, I cant update my n900 to pr 1.3
 

Hi every one,
I've heard that the new firmware the pr1.3 is available, but until now I cant update my phone. I cant find the update neither on the NSU nor in the apps manager. If any one has an idea please help.

please use the power search and use the search terms 'updating wiki'.
the first result will see you right. though tablets-dev seems to be down at the moment so you wont be able to download the global image until its back up.

install rootsh and then open xterm

sudo gainroot
apt-get upgrade
y (enter)

there will be about 1063 updates.

i had to do this a couple tkimes to get them all to install.

I am having the same problem. I'm pretty sure it is because I removed the mp-fremantle-generic-pr package (it was autocleaned).

This problem is described in thread 49923. This post http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...4&postcount=11 identifies the exact problem.

I'm going to try using apt-get to upgrade, although I'll wait until I'm back from travel on Friday. ;)
