Re-install MicroB?

Is there any way of completely re-installing MicroB? My kinetic scrolling, the thing when you flick it upwards it keeps moving and slows down, isn't working. That's not my biggest issue. 99% of web pages don't work because of a redirecting loop. I am stuck on 3-4 websites. I can't think of anything else than flashing, but I really don't want to do it unless it's the absolute last resort. I think at one time I might have blocked a cookie, maybe forever. Is there a way to reverse this in about:config?

The redirect could be a cache issue. Have you tried a complete clear? From settings, also, clean your /tmp

"apt-get purge microb-engine" and then reinstall with "apt-get install microb-engine"

Try at your own risk.

Rate this on a 1-10 scale how "dangerous" this could be? Because we just got our WLAN today, and I've had this problem forever!

Before trying that, try deleteing MicroB's working directory, fixes most thing with the browser.
Code:

/home/user/.mozilla/microb

Re: Re-install MicroB?

Hmmm...
Have you been playing around with:
Code:

/home/user/.mozilla/microb/prefs.js
As it will survive the deletion of the directory.

Nope. I have never touched it.

Re: Re-install MicroB?

If flash is the problem try clearing:
Code:

/home/user/.adobe
/home/user/.macromedia

Flash will store its cookies in these directories (sneeky buggers) and a Clear private data will not clear them.
