Developing Hildon Control Panel plugins using Python
 

I am currently developing an app in Python and I want to develop this app such that it is a control panel applet. I've been scouring the wiki for developing hildon control panel applets using python, but the information I can find only shows examples using C code. Are there python-based applet applications on garage, or any examples available anywhere? Can anyone point me in the right direction for this? Thanks.

Just updating (hopefully answering my own question) - seems like the media im status updater applet was developed using python (at first glance). I'll update on whether it works for me or not, in case it can help anyone else also wanting to do something like this.
