n900 keeps connecting to the internet via 3g by itself and draining battery
 

my n900 keeps connecting automatically (3G) when i power it on and when i disconnect it after few minutes reconnects alone (without opening browser or anything else) ,already done a reflash but the problem remains!!

software installed only sygic
rom version :RX-51_2009SE_10.2010.19-1_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin

battery doesn't last with internet connection being always on

There's an option for that under "Internet connections" in settings app.

Do you know how to access the "connectivity" settings? In that menu on my N800 you can choose: Always ask, WLAN, phone or Any connection. I chose "WLAN" so that it does not automatically bluetooth tether to my 3g phone.

i tried that in this moment ,i will stick with these new settings i just made there and see if the autoconnection is permanently disabled . . . . hope it is, will get back here and post result after some hour from now
