N900 not recognising media on memory card?
 

Hi,

I just installed a 16gb memory card to my N900. Now I can't get the unit to recognise any of the media on it.

Can someone help please?

You need to clarify "recognise any of the media on it". For starters is the card itself recognised?

if you have password set un mmc it wont work by default, maybe something in x term. so better remove passwird plus one restart for the first tine. btw i was wondering should we unmount mmc via x term to safely remove it?

Has the memory card worked on any other device, or is it a completely new, unformatted one? If there is nothing on it that you wish to save or it's unformatted you can just use file browser, tap and hold your finger on the card icon, and then select format.
