GPE Calandar crashes n800
 

After installing GPE Calandar (among other apps), I experienced severe instability for weeks. Sluggish performance, and constant rapid fire popups saying "operation disabled due to low memory". I had to reboot a few times a day.

I ran top, and noticed that whenever I launched a browser, alarmd would run mysteriously and hog resources.

I just removed GPE Calandar, and things seem to be back to normal. I suspect GPE Calandar must have been triggering alarmd to go on some huge mission of some kind.

BTW, I'm not making a bug report because of all the forced email address disclosure and spam issues with the way the maemo bugzilla database is poorly configured. But anyone is welcome to open a ticket and mirror this post.
