SOLVED change multiboot kernel priorities
installed multiboot yesterday...
have got 3 kernels now for startup: 1. maemo standard 2. titans power kernel 3. nitdroid problem is that if i start my n900 without the keyboard opened it automatically starts the normal maemo kernel. is it possible to make titans power kernel the standard one and maybe remove the normal maemo kernel from the list? |
Re: SOLVED change multiboot kernel priorities
interesting.Mine automatically starts the titan kernel.I would like to know how to do this as well.

Re: SOLVED change multiboot kernel priorities
The reason for the original kernel there is incase titan's kernel fails to boot up.

Re: SOLVED change multiboot kernel priorities
I Just installed Nitdroid, and got the same menu on bootmenu of multiboot:
1. omap1 kernel (default) 2. Power-kernel47 3.Nitdroid Is it possible to autoboot in power-kernel instead of omap1 kernel, as I am overclocked to 750mh 24/7 and before I installed multiboot I always booted into power-kernel and in my opinion the default kernel does have an awful CPU profile. Since booting is a bit crucial and I don't want to kill my phone right now, I thought asking before experimenting with such a crucial part of my phone ;) I used search but I don't know if it will be read as solved is tagged in this thread. Also I can't find the appropriate answer on the wiki... |
