Problem with Update
 

Hello,

My N900 is telling me theres a Maemo 5 Update thats 87.3MB in size. When I try to install it via the phones over GPRS it tells me to connect via my PC and the Nokia PC suite.

When I do this then select the Phone Software Update it tells me this is no longer available and to use Nokia Ovi Suite but part of the N900 update is adding Ovi Suite support.

If I try and use Ovi Suite that doesnt work and come up with an error how am I meant to get the update?

Any help would be most appreciated.

Do a backup of your data with the backup app and copy off the contents of you MyDocs folder which will contain downloads, music etc...

Then follow the instructions here
