How to keep tracker reading just one folder?
 

Hi everyone. I need some help. I searched in the forum, but I can't find an especific answer. This is my problem: :confused:

I wanna to keep just one folder monitored by the tracker for musics. I saw here a solution that you write in the /home/user/.config/tracker/tracker.conf the paths you wanna to exclude in th NoWatchDirectories.
But it don't solved my problem cause write all the folders is inviable! :(

In the tracker.cfg, edit the following line:

then restart the tracker with
..Or use the tracker-cfg app.

Of course, doing this will mean that none of your photos will show up in the photo viewer, and you won't get your videos showing in the Media Player (unless they're also stored under ../Music).

Great Help! Solved my problem!!! And, I will make the proper changes to read images, etc.

PS: I found the reason that it wasn't working before!! I was executing tracker-process -r as root!!! I wasn't cleaning the databases of my user!!! I'm a donkey.
