anybody, surely someone must like the idea and the implementaion of the Symbian app, breakdown of usage re: cals, texts, web, emails etc

Well it looks like Qt, but I would imagine it is closed source. Someone would have to convince Nokia themselves to port it (fat chance).

probably, but people on here are very smart, im sure someone could do it, new or version of

Pybattery gives you an active/standby time in your status menu along with an exact % of remaining battery.
I don't know if that's any help for you but I find it really useful.

yeah have that, but the symbian app does some much more with breaking it down to usage task etc plus its a nice looking app too.
