N900 transmit Songtitle through A2DP Bluetooth?
 

Hi there!

I am using my N900 with the stock player and an a2dp/avrcp bluetooth stereo headset.
Streaming music and controlling the player works flawlessly.

However, the headset also has a display for showing track information like artist / songtitle.

Unfortunately the N900 does not seem to transmit this information, which means the display remains dark.
Tried this with 3 different headsets of different makes and models, no luck. All of them display titles when used with another source.

Is there an app that polls the media player for track info and adds it to the A2DP bluetooth stream?

Any other idea how to get it to work?

That is correct, N900 only supports BT A2DP 1.1.
The phone needs support 1.2 to send songtitle and so on.
I was also a little dissepointed about that.
I use a Nokia BH-903.
