[request] stop vibrating/ringing when user pick up the phone
Tell me if this is a stupid idea:
Objective: have the phone to stop vibrating / ringing when someone picks it up Hypothesis: - the phone is still on a desk and it starts ringing: the phone could log the accelerator status and detect the difference between standing still and being picked up. - the phone is in your pocket, you're moving and it starts ringing: the phone could log the proximity sensor and detect the difference between being in the pocket and being picked up. - the phone is in your car and it starts ringing: nothing. the phone cannot detect a difference in accelerator or proximity, so it cannot detect that you're paying attention to it, so it keeps ringing. The phone could restart vibrating/ringing with same rules, after a delay, if you stop paying attention to it without interacting (tilting upside-down, closing up the call, hitting the silence button, answering, etc) Just my 2 cents. thank you, G. |

I've been thinkin kinda same. Except I would like to have an application which stops ringing when I tap my phone once or maybe twice, when its ringing in my pocket. Theres lots of moments when I would like to silence my phone quikly as possible.
Maybe an application that lets you choose wheter you want to have this feature on/off or G_Guses feature on/off etc.. What do you think our beloved developers :) Larza |
