Possible Memory Leak :Is This Normal?
I notice my memory is pretty high, around 50mbs higher than usual. I usually get around 110mbs used on start up and it stays like that for a day or so. Now I notice when I boot up, there is around 170mbs of ram being used and it stays like that, if not goes higher. I installed HTop and it shows that there are 7 processes under the same name running called "RTComMessagingServer" It's taking around 11mb of memory each.

Re: Possible Memory Leak :Is This Normal?
I have 144 MB RAM used at idle, cpu use 1-5 %
With concy says 1 process running 145 MB RAM used uptime 22 hrs. Right after reboot it says 8-9 % CPU and 119 MB RAM usage. After a while it climes to approx 130-140 MB RAM usage. I have titans kernel v46 and swap set at 50. |
Re: Possible Memory Leak :Is This Normal?
Well, unless it becomes a problem performance wise, ignore it.
Linux uses more ram by default to make things faster - You've still got, what, over 100mb free? Nothing to worry about. |
Re: Possible Memory Leak :Is This Normal?
Mine goes rocket high to 160+mb or even 170+ sometimes on idle usage lol :p but still I lose like 1% battery per 2 hours... And oh I'm using catorise.
