kbdd updated (non-HID bluetooth keyboards)
 

Hi,

just to let you know that I have updated kbdd.tar.gz at http://fanoush.wz.cz/maemo/#kbdd

Changes:

- added infoprints (so you know what happens when you run menu shortcut)
- more robust error recovery in btkbd
- configurable key repeat rate in btkbd.conf (can help with unwanted autorepeat)
- release all pressed keys on kbdd exit (fixes runaway keys when kbdd exits while key is pressed)
- kbdd now starts only if keyboard is found (and paired successfully)
- Freedom keyboard has now US layout (done by ascherjim) by default

French people can use 'Hardware keyboard' control panel to load French layout on N800 or N770 with hacker edition. Also make sure you have 'Generic 105-key PC' keyboard there or some keys may not work.

I guess it is worthwhile to check especially if you have problems with repeated keys aandd tyype liikke tthis :-) In such case play with KEYREPEAT_DELAY in btkbd.conf

I hope there are no bugs added.
