very slow app manager how to make faster
 
hi all

application manger download section take about 60 minute to update and show me the application its happen every time even if gust open seconds away

i heard from some forums that its only take 30 sec to open why is that happening to my phone I bought these month and update it in the same day

and

is there any way after installing application from app manager the downloaded file will be existed or stored in my phone
so i can install it again without download it again

and thanx in advance sorry for bad English (god bless spillcheck makers)

You can install Faster Application Manager from the repos. Much better performance.

Also disable all repo's that are not required ;) - opens/updates in about 20 seconds if you only have the maemo extras repo open :)

You can also try increasing the App manager's update checks interval to the maximum, this way it won't automatically look for applications and firmware updates whenever you use it - its highly recommended:

nice man

after i checked catalogues i found out that maemo extra repated twice don't why

the same link and the same name disabled one
and its faster now but still slower than what its suppose to be

i thinking of disable more repo's but i don't know which to disable :confused:

can u tell me which is more important to leave it enabled
