Change font in terminal
Hello !
I don't know how to add fonts in the menu "fonts" of the xterm / terminal : fonts that I added in Code:
/home/user/.fonts/ Thank you ! |
Re: Change font in terminal
restart your phone

Re: Change font in terminal
It doesn't work. I think the folder of xterm fonts is not /home/user/.fonts
|
Re: Change font in terminal
Same problem with the fonts I placed in /usr/share/fonts : they are not listed in the fonts menu of xterm
|
Re: Change font in terminal
Place your font in /opt/usr/share/fonts/nokia and reboot.

Re: Change font in terminal
I wanted the ProFontWindows for xterm because its really looking nice and geeky, so I copied it to /opt/usr/share/fonts and then simply resetted font cache by typing
Code:
fc-cache -f -v Voila, ProFontWindows liisted in Xterm Fonts (no restart required). http://img830.imageshack.us/img830/4...1021107245.png Greetz, ..::J4ZZ::.. |
Re: Change font in terminal
Liberation mono - best terminal font, ever.
Found in: /usr/share/fonts/truetype/ttf-liberation of your Ubuntu install. I'm also using Ubuntu Sans are my primary font and it's a thing of beauty. |
Re: Change font in terminal
Thx man you're right. ttf-liberation looks awesome but for me at least on the N900 font size 12 is a bit too small and size 16 a bit too large. The ProFont is just perfect for me. ;)
