Replace unlock code or unlock screen with sign on screen?
I have a really long lock code and is really tired of typing this code. (yeah, I know. I could change to a shorter one.) But before I do that, Do we have anything that could replace the lock code? For example; press top left corner on screen, or draw a line from top left corner to bottom left corner to unlock the phone.

Huh? Why not just disable the code altogether if you don't mind just swipping to unlock or pressing a button so clearly do not need the security of a lock code? Then you can just use the lock slider switch or use the swipe to unlock screen.

I could, but if you disable the code you remove some part of the security. If only you know where on the screen to press, you could have some part of security left and unlock it faster.
EDIT: or shake the phone for 5 seconds to unlock it ;). |

Android has the swipe unlock thingy: e.g. https://theassurer.com/wp-content/up...ttern-Lock.jpg
Would of course be nice to have plugable security/unlock methods... |

Annoying thing is when the keyboard of N900 slightly opens in your pocket and the touchscreen becomes active, causing your Desktop going messed up, or rejecting call without you knowing and so on. I'd like to touch screen and keyboard being really locked until I slide the switch button, even without the security auto lock. |

I imagine you could make a custom swipe to unlock screen that is all black or that has a misaligned (perhaps even backwards) fake slider thingy, though that wouldn't e much of a challange to someone that knows the N900 (hell, they could even just simply use the lock thingy next to the headset/TV out socket or open the keyboard)
