Boot screens
 

Hi,

While I've found and changed the boot video, I have searched the forums and haven't found how to change the boot screen. Right now, I have a black screen with the five "KITT lights", but I have seen on someone's deviantart site screens which melt into the intro video, but no instructions on how to set it up. I've figured out where to put the video, but not the static screen.

the splashscreen (nokia hands) cant be changed
if thats what you mean

do you have a devart link so we can see what you mean?

the nokia hands can indeed be changed... dont think that the nokia logo at the start can be changed as well.

I thought about combining one of them with a
loading progress bar, but I'm not sure how the teal will go with the blue progress bar...

True, but the black screen with the five lights ("There...are...FOUR...lights!!!") should be able to...

Hi VulcanRidr,

the five dots are from the indicator_updateX.png images in
/usr/share/icons/hicolor/scalable/hildon

Thanks nicolai. What about the background image (or the lack thereof in my case)?
