how to unlock my n900 to a portuguese network
 

Hi everyone i really hope im posting thi in the right place... my problem is : i bought my n900 in uk but im moving out to portugal now and i would like to use my n900 in portugal any advices or solutions? tank you very mutch

When you arrive, purchase a Portuguese SIM card, either prepaid or on contract. Put it in your N900. Done.

where did you but it? from a UK company? mine has always been unlocked....are you sure of the portuguese company frequencies? maybe they are not compatible with the N900 and voçê teria que procurar uma nova companhia....I think...

i boght the phone from nokia in manchester with a contract from tmobile but the phone is unlocked to all uk networks... when i try to do a call it says sim is not available... i realy want to use the phone in portugal otherwise the phone is useless... :( do u speak portuguese ajjara?

Tens a certeza que isso não está bloqueado à tmobile? Se compraste com contrato era de esperar que viesse bloqueado. É estranho não estar. Se calhar o melhor que tens a fazer é ligar para eles e perguntar se realmente está ou não bloqueado. Só uma sugestão :)

Do telemóvel não é, porque o meu funca cá em Portugal.

i called tmobile and the phone is indeed unblocked to all net works... and i now the problem is not from the sim card cause is working in my samsung just fine... im just really desperate cause is an expensive phone and im not coming back to UK :(
