N900 dead "flashing cmt-mcusw... sending request 0x50 failed: No error"
N900 went dead, it is rebooting all the time directly after Nokia white screen. Tried to flash but I getting the following error: "flashing cmt-mcusw... sending request 0x50 failed: No error".
Please help |

Try removing the battery for about a minute, then plug in USB and have flasher running on the host PC. Put the battery back in and let it do the flashing. Make sure you flash the fiasco image first.

I tried to flash as suggested, however i am getting the same error. I am getting continous reboot on Nokia logo white screen

is ur internet connected during reflashing? if it is disconnect it then reflash.

i somehow believe flashing on a linux platform should fix your issue, if nothing works cold flash might help you..

are you using x64?

I'll answer all the above:
- I am using Windows XP x32. - I tried cold and warm reflash _ I am not connected to the internet becasue the N900 is in the continous reboot mode. |

I am still stuck with a dead n900 that is booting all the time and I am not able to reflash to make it work.
Any suggestion and any idea is more than welcome. please help |

once i had the same problem ....it use to reboot in the logo and sometimes ...when i open keyboard ..for me it was the battery problem .try with other batterys....
