how to close not responding apps ?
 
if a prpgram isn't responding how kan i kill it?? there is no end button and sometimes i isn't closed from the tasks menu

Ctrl-Backspace

Click the X.

or

Press the power button and click

"End current task"

thanks so much, but how can i know the functions of some keys, i discovered ctrl + backspace by accident . can u tell me where 2 find info about that..

Scroll down the application launcher, you'll come to a '?' icon called 'User Guide'. Also, http://wiki.maemo.org/.

there is no "?" icon in the menu or " more..." menu

That sounds like you're on an earlier version on Maemo. You need to upgrade to see the User Guide icon. However, the user guide should still be available in your Documents folder - run File Manager to see it.

Grrrr inglish man, inglish! :D

Open x-terminal, and login as root (root / sudo-gainroot (i suppose you have rootsh package already installed)).

With "ps" command, you can view all of the running processes. Scroll back and remember the number (process ID) of the process what you want to kill.

Type "kill [process ID]" and the process will be killed immediately.
