How to free up memory available for insatallble applications

Hi Guyz,
I totally screwed up my phone today.

What is happened is, i installed most of the repos, and keep downloading stuffs. after some time everything stopped failing.
Like if i open contacts, i used to get a message that "Internal Error. Operation failed". If i try to send a message then "Internal Error. Operation failed".

So when i observed memory status, Here was the status,
Nokia N900 --> 1GB available
Memory Card --> 88MB available
Memory for installable applications --> 65MB

So i was sure that these failure are because of low memory in Nokia N900 or Memory Installable applications. Could some one tell which one is causing failures for me?

1) I took all backups, connected my phone through USB, formatted
N900
2) Still problem was there, so i decided to flash my device. Installed flasher 3.5 and executed following "flasher-3.5.exe -F RX-51_2009SE_2.2009.51-1.002_PR_COMBINED_002_ARM.bin -f -R"
3) Still no success, so i wanted to flash eMMc so executed "flasher-3.5.exe -F RX-51_2009SE_2.2009.51-1.002_PR_COMBINED_002_ARM.bin -f"
still problem is there.

Please help me how do i get back my device as it was earlier.
In the wiki link, i saw i first need to flash FAISCO image then eMMC. But how? What is FAISCO image and what is eMMC?

Please help me.

Have you tried removing all apps with Settings -> Clear device option? that should free up space then try to "Restore original settings"

If its not working u probably messed up partitions , try a full reflash

as wiki says

hi,
i will try that option and let u know the result.

Meanwhile can u pls explain me, what is FISCO image and what is eMMC?
what is the meaning of statement "If you want to flash eMMC, first you need to flash FISCO then eMMC. ALso should not reboot in between these process"

Hit the area around the text where it says "Settings" on the top

Hey this really helped.

FIASCO is the firmware that we want
eMMC is the internal memory card, for which we have lastest version as "RX-51_2009SE_10.2010.13-2.VANILLA_PR_EMMC_MR0_ARM.bin" right?

So if i understood correctly, i havent flashed my eMMC yet right?
Just i flashed FIASCO 2 times then, once with Restart option and once without restart option. right?
