Nokia's original intentions of the PowerVR SGX 530
Not a big deal by any means, I'm just curious. What did Nokia ever plan to do with the GPU aside from a Bounce tech demo developed by Rovio?

Zen Bound and Rollercoaster use it so I would guess it was intended for 3d games :) but since Maemo died....well you know the rest :D

Thank god it's there. I need my Angry Birds with a nice and smooth framerate. I've watched it run on an android phone without a GPU. It ain't pretty D:

The pretty ui transitions all use the PowerVR, I imagine that a pretty UI is the main driving force, games are a secondary consideration imo.
